We would like to announce the winners of the first Ankh Morpork Community Art Fair, funded by Unseen University Library - the librarian would like to thank the University Bursar for the financial support given to this excellent community program, regardless of whether said Bursar remembers giving it or not.
The theme for the fair in what is hoped to be the first of many, was "Depicxtions of Great A-tuin", a theme that provided a veritable gold-mine of creative interpretations by our keen Ankh Morpork citizens.
Listed below are the winners for the major categories. We would like to make a note that the category of "Juvenile Art" was not intended to attract so many entries containing gross and childish humour (please take special note Mr. Nobby Nobbs). The category will be renamed "Junior Artists" next year.
Juvenile Art Prize - Crevally Jenkins, aged 14
Professional Printmakers Prize - Joe McLaren
Illustration Prize: Josh Kirby
Otherworldly Technologies Prize: Amphrey Magnabottom representing the Alchemists Guild
Watercolourist's Prize: Consumptia Languor
Freeform Sculptor's Prize: Sandra Battye representing real Seamstresses of the Seamstress' Guild
